About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player in developing and operating in both Azure cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Kubernetes Service in Azure and on-premise environments.

• Design and present platform architecture for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to identify technical challenges and improvements.

• Evaluate and integrate cloud computing platforms, automation tools, and monitoring solutions.

• Implement software engineering best practices for version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.

• Contribute to the Platform Roadmap, driving improvements and innovations.

• Automate deployments, testing, and monitoring using Terraform, Pulumi, and other cloud-native tools.

• Maintain and promote the DevOps culture within Vestas by enhancing ways of working.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience in Kubernetes, Linux, and Cloud-Native technologies.

• Proficiency in Golang or similar strongly-typed programming languages.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

• Solid understanding of version control (Git) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi).

• Basic knowledge of distributed systems and cloud integration with on-premises infrastructure.
